What can I say , a weekend weather watching to see if it was on/off/on/off, credit to Paul Dyer in making a brave call on the Sunday forecast. The result..... an absolute cracker of a day that started with my son waking the house at  4am Monday morning stating .... I can't sleep!

Brekky at McD's 6.30 & then time to gear up ^ take a few piccys that can be found on the EVENT GALLERY page. The start was a bit lumpy & looking quite overcast but the weather gods prevailed & the day just got better & better. My youngest had a ball on his first ever wrecking trip even winning a prize, my thanks to Paul & Diawa for organising the event & my thanks to John Barrow  skipper of Lady of the Lake and all on board who made jnr feel right at home. He is still buzzing about the day.

He slept most of the return trip & woke in time for the weigh in  which the tacklebox assisted with. Dave & keith  on the scales & my wife logging the weights & helping compile the results shown above.

Both winning boats now have a shiny new plaque each to display  .
